Snow White is heading to the big screen next year - in two separate films!
The new trailer for these films were recently released and Fl@unt is certainly excited for the remakes of the Brother's Grimm classic.
The first to be released will be Mirror Mirror, due out in March 2012 starring Julia Roberts as the evil queen, Armie Hammer (The Social Network) and Phil Collin's daughter Lily Collins as Snow White. This film is targeted towards the younger audience reflecting the more cartoonish, animated tones of the Disney version of the tale.
Lily is a perfectly fitting face for Snow White as is Armie as the dashing prince. Check the trailer:
The second film version Snow White and the Hunstman is due for summer release starring Charlize Theron as the evil queen, Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as the Huntsman and Kristen Stewart as Snow White. As Twilight is so popular, Kristen's starring role is guaranteed to bring in wide audiences. This adaptation adopts a serious tone promising a voyaging tale and a dramatic climax.
Fl@unt is interested to see this twist of the popular tale which will attract younger and older generations, plus Charlize looks fierce as the evil queen! Check the trailer:
