Ones to Watch in 2012

Here's Fl@unt's pick of fresh faces to keep your eyes and ears out for this year:

SINGER
Lana Del Ray

New York native Lana may be the daughter of a millionaire, but this has not knocked her music hustle, determined to make the music she wishes without any industry tweaking.
Lana's pretty yet sullen face matches her haunting yet beautiful vocals adding some 'gangsta' to her indie music style. Her debut single 'Born to Die' is out at the end of this month, however her single 'Video Games' already made it to #9 in the UK charts back in November, check it:

MC
Dot Rotten

Hailing from South London, Dot Rotten, formerly known as 'Young Dot', has been making beats in the underground grime scene for a while now.
He has transitioned into the mainstream with his new hit currently circling music channels 'Keep It On A Low' which showcases a mix of grime and dub beats topped with Dot's hard-hitting lyrics. Check the video below:

MODEL
Joan Small

This naturally gorgeous 23-year-old high fashion model is one of the most in demand new models working in the industry at the moment and it is no question as to why.
Clearly inheriting the best of both worlds in the looks department - Small's mother is Puerto Rican and her father is from St. Barts, she has already walked for top designers such as D&G, Prada and Marc Jacobs - and there's no stopping there!
Currently located in New York City, Small is there to work, so no doubt you will see much more of this face in 2012.

ACTRESS
Elizabeth Olsen

The younger sister of the Olsen twins is set on making a name for herself and she has certainly has the talent for it. She starred in critically acclaimed indie film 'M' about a young woman who escapes from a sex cult, confused and paranoid of what is and what is not reality.
There is Oscar buzz surrounding her role and so already, Elizabeth has achieved something away from her sisters' success. She is set to star in two movies released this year, one starring Robert De Niro, so watch out for her.
