This young lady has been making headlines this week after being the first model of colour model in 20 years cast as the face of the new Prada campaign and she is giving us a fierce reason as to why exactly in this steel shot. Naomi Campbell was the last black model to join the Prada campaign in 1994, the year Malaika was born, and hopefully we won't have to wait as long to see more ethnicities being accepted into high fashion campaigns in the future.
Malaika was born in Kenya and raised in the UK and shows amazing promise and future success as a supermodel. With a strong jaw and wide set doe eyes this girl will go far no doubt. She has already landed the job of her life and she is only beginning her model career!
