So Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her husband of only 72 days, basketball player Kris Humphries.
The wedding turned out to be such a media circus that for me, it was no surprise the marriage didn't hold up - there was way too much pressure placed upon the relationship to be something that it clearly wasn't from the start.
Kim and Kris should not have agreed to publicize their union so intensely from the marriage proposal to the wedding as they probably lost concept during filming of what their relationship was supposed to be, compared to what it actually was, a source of hefty income based on a rushed relationship.
The only surprise here was that Kim decided to end the marriage so soon after such a massive wedding ceremony, in which she looked beautiful, its just a shame it was in vain. Or was it? There are claims that Kim and Kris knew their relationship wasn't going to work before they got hitched, but as they had a deal with E! TV channel to screen the wedding for a big sum, they continued with the ceremony.
If this is the case then I must question Kim's choices - she is already the richest reality star raking in money from all types of other business deals, did she really have to sacrifice her dignity and chance of finding real love? If this is not the case, and Kim genuinely hoped the marriage would work, Fl@unt hopes she will recover from this situation and learn that next time, love is more important than money, especially when you already have cash to spare.
Kim just need to take time away from the spotlight and assess what she really wants out of life, in order to avoid this situation again.
