UK band Sugababes have changed faces so many times over the years with bandmates dropping and being replaced faster than I change my clothes in the morning. These reasons were mainly due to conflict, resulting in the band becoming more recognized for its internal altercations than its unique music which is a shame.
However, with the original line up of Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan having reformed recording new music soon ready for release, there's hope that Sugababes will again be praised and appreciated for the way in which it began - creating unique, soulful, quality music of a new generation.
Back in 2000 as a young girl I remember these teenage girls arriving on the British music scene with music that immediately stood out from the rest. I was intrigued by their diverse, alternative sound. From a young age, these women have proved their talent and sustainability in the music business, never compromising their beautiful sound.
Hopefully Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan can bring the Sugababes back from being a brand to a true vocal band. Fl@unt cannot wait to hear their new music!
