He is about to hit the big screen in his first starring role as John Carter, a man from the American civil war transported to Mars, a film directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, Wall-E) - and with such undeniable good looks and strong screen presence, its no wonder Taylor was picked as the main star.
Taylor first starred in TV show Friday Night Lights, as a high school American football player and moved to Austin, Texas while making the show. This 30-year-old Canadian actor holds your attention on film proved in his roles since, as Gambit in Wolverine: X Men Origins and Kevin Carter, a real life combat photographer in The Bang Bang Club (2009) alongside Ryan Phillippe.
We've established that the guy has acting talent and now for more important things...Taylor was a personal trainer before he became an actor so he takes good care of his body - we can't wait for those shirtless scenes in John Carter!
