'This c*** getting e****' - probably the most sexually explicit lyrics from a female artist ever, taken from newcomer Azaelia Banks first single 212 ft. Lazy Jay which is gaining steady rotation in the UK at the moment. This electro-house/hip hop track is fun and sexy, bound to get you moving and this ain't the only track Banks has to offer.
20-year-old Azealia is a rapper from Harlem who has gained an ever-increasing fan base by posting lyric videos of her music, presenting great tracks such as electro-house Liquorice and hard-hitting L8R. She is signed to Interscope records and is due to release her debut album Broke with Expensive Taste later this year.
Azealia is not your typical NY rapper, as she incorporates more European house music styles within her own music, yet still manages to keep the hip hop beats within each track sounding equally as strong. She was nominated as third BBC Sound of 2012, so watch out for Azealia this next few months - she's gonna make some noise.
