Joan Smalls has been named 'Number 1 Model', by Models.com.
After bringing this woman to Fl@unt readers attention at the beginning of the year, our predictions of her mammoth success have arrived even sooner then we preconceived. Having said this, Joan has been working as a top model for two years, so the journey to the top may not feel all too quick for the young Puerto Rican woman.
Since 2010, Joan has had campaigns with Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Estee Lauder and Stella McCartney just to name a few. She has a strong signature catwalk and a range of diverse editorial shoots. Being the Number 1 model is a special accomplishment as a woman of ethnic minority so Joan is flying the flag on all sides with this achievement.
Well done Ms Smalls, our new favourite supermodel.
