TIME 100 MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE 2013

The event celebrating Time's Most Influential People of this year was held a couple of nights ago in New York City, attended by those on the list.

Fl@unt was pleased to see our favourite modern music legends Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Christina Aguilera on the list who have held up strong careers for around fifteen years and have paved the way for modern music.

Michelle Obama was also part of TIME's 100, a spokesperson and political mover, so much more than the President's wife, as well as Grey's Anatomy and new hit show Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes who
Fl@unt is a dedicated fan of.

Shonda is responsible for casting for the first time a black actress (Kerry Washington) in a main role for a TV show, of which is not centered around her race (which America always seem to end up doing when casting black actors) but around her story of her love affair with the President. A compelling intense drama that has become a success no doubt to Shonda's exciting writing and Kerry's screen presence.

Lena Dunham was also found on the list and Fl@unt believes she deserves to be considered as influential especially for young woman struggling to establish a secure life and feel comfortable in their own skin. Lena has created a breakthrough show that taps into the realistic dilemmas of young adults. She has broken the mould of the portrayal of women on TV and has been brave in her ploy to do so.

Lena looked stylish at the TIME event while Justin Timberlake
looked extra suave and Christina Aguilera looked demure and divine in a cutout black gown cutting a slimmer figure. Congratulations to those who made the list.
