The X Factor finally came to a close tonight with pleasant results all round. Matt Cardle has deservedly taken the crown this year, after mightily showcasing his debut single, as well as pulling powerfully emotional vocals earlier on in the night covering Katy Perry's 'Firework'. It seemed to be a close call tonight - I thought One Direction might be the first group to take it at first, considering their fanbase of screaming girls but shockingly they came third.
Rebecca was equally amazing tonight with her unqiue sassy rendition of 'Sweet Dreams'. Check her performance below:
I believe Rebecca will definitely achieve success on both sides of the pond despite coming second and One Direction will absolutely blow up in the UK if Cowell has anything to do with it.
Well done to all finalists but with a later reveal of the majority of public votes going to Matt every week of the live shows, he truly deserves his title as X factor winner.
