If you haven't seen Gatsby in theaters then maybe you might not understand the captivity of this Australian actor, who is not only cute but extremely talented in the most understated way. Joel plays raucous playboy Tom Buchanen in the movie adaptation of the novel and steals the show, be warned.
You truly appreciate Joel's acting skills when you realise he is actually the sweetest, most charming, laid back guy in real life - if he can draw you in playing such an unlikeable character it shows how much power Joel commands on screen.
Having played only nice guys in the past Gatsby has proved Joel's versatility as an actor. He is also passionate about charity and giving back to his community, adding another tick to the poster boy list.
